Gymnastics Lesson Instructor

The Bellefonte Branch has an immediate opening for a skilled, energetic Gymnastics Lesson Instructor to teach lessons on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Prior experience teaching or participating in gymnastics is required. Successful candidates will be asked to obtain or provide copies of current PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse, and FBI Fingerprint clearances. Maintenance Staff

The Bellefonte Branch has an immediate opening for a  responsible Maintenance staff member to clean the facility for 2-3 hours in the evenings 5 days per week. Prior experience in a maintenance role is preferred but not required. Annex Fitness Attendant

The Bellefonte Branch has an opening for a friendly and conscientious Annex Fitness Attendant. The part-time position includes not only being responsible for assisting exercisers with equipment but also checking in members and non-members and doing some program registrations. Previous experience in customer service and/or wellness is preferred, ideally with a bachelor’s degree in a related field or personal training certification. Candidates must have availability evenings, weekdays, and weekends to fill available shifts as needed. Successful candidates will be required to obtain or provide copies of current PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse, and FBI Fingerprint clearances. Member Service Representative

The Bellefonte Branch is seeking friendly, reliable individuals to fill part-time Member Service Representative (MSR) positions.  Staff are needed to fill various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.  Previous experience in customer service is preferred but not required.  Starting rate of pay is $8.00. Swim Lesson Instructors

The Bellefonte Branch has openings for friendly, energetic individuals to serve as Swim Lesson Instructors. Previous swimming experience is required and experience teaching swim lessons in a group or private setting is preferred. Candidates must have availability evenings and weekends to fill available shifts as needed. Successful candidates will be required to obtain or provide copies of current PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse, and FBI Fingerprint clearances. Child Care Staff

The Bellefonte Branch is seeking energetic, dependable individuals to fill part-time positions in our before- and after-school child care programs. Incentives include a free YMCA membership and excellent opportunities for professional growth in the Child Care field. Ideal candidates must have at least 15 credit hours in the Human Services field and experience working with children in a group setting. New competitive wages for this position vary from $9.00 to $10.15 per hour depending on experience. Successful applicants will be required to obtain PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse History and FBI Clearances. Group Exercise Staff

The Bellefonte Branch has openings for experienced and motivated Group Exercise Instructors. We are looking for enthusiastic team members certified in any (or multiple) of the following areas: Yoga, Zumba, Pilates, Barre, or a general fitness/group exercise certification. These part-time positions offer potential scheduling flexibility and the opportunity to creatively engage the community in getting active together. Lifeguards

The Bellefonte branch is currently seeking courteous, professional, and punctual lifeguards for weekday and weekend shifts. Starting rate of pay is $8.35 per hour. Requirements include a current lifeguard certification.  Successful candidates will also be required to obtain PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse History, and FBI Clearances.  Interested candidates can submit their resumes to the Steve Greecher, Aquatic & Youth Programs Director – [email protected]
