Member Service Representatives

The State College branch of the YMCA of Centre County is seeking friendly, reliable individuals to fill part-time Member Service Representative (MSR) positions. Staff are needed to fill all shifts, including weekends, early mornings, and evenings. Successful candidates will be required to obtain copies of PA Criminal, Child Abuse History, and FBI clearances. Child Care Staff

The State College branch of the YMCA of Centre County is seeking energetic, dependable individuals to fill part-time child care positions in the Before and After School programs. Each program runs Monday through Friday. The Before School program hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. The After School program hours are 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Benefits include usage of all YMCA of Centre County facilities, additional paid planning time, and opportunities for professional development. Successful candidates will be required to obtain copies of PA Criminal, Child Abuse History, and FBI clearances. Assistant Swim Team Coaches

The State College branch of the YMCA of Centre County has an opening for Assistant Swim Coaches for the fall swimming season, beginning in September. Assistant coaches will primarily be responsible for helping the Head Swim Team Coach plan, execute, and coordinate practices. Coaches will be needed for evening, weekday practices, and will be required to work weekend shifts as necessary. Successful candidates will be required to obtain copies of PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse History, and FBI clearances. Indoor Cycling Instructor

TThe YMCA of Centre County’s State College Branch is currently seeking an Indoor Cycling Instructor to teach class on Saturdays at 9:30am. Cycling instructor certification and prior experience preferred. Successful candidates will be required to obtain PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse History and FBI Clearances as well as maintain current CPR/AED and First Aid Certifications. Child Watch Staff

The State College branch of the YMCA of Centre County has an opening for part-time, friendly and reliable child watch staff. Child Watch is a service offered to members while they workout or participate in wellness programming. Staff are needed to fill shifts on Monday – Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Successful candidates will be required to obtain or provide copies of current PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse, and FBI Fingerprint clearances. Water Fitness Instructor

The State College Branch has an opening for an energetic, motivated Water Fitness Instructor to teach classes on weekdays at various times. Previous experience teaching water fitness classes and a general water aerobics or water fitness certification are preferred but not required. Successful applicants will be required to obtain PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse History, and FBI Clearances. Lifeguards

The State College branch is currently seeking courteous, professional, and punctual lifeguards for weekday and weekend shifts. Starting rate of pay is $8.35 per hour. Requirements include a current lifeguard certification.  Successful candidates will also be required to obtain PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse History, and FBI Clearances.  Interested candidates can submit their resumes to Ray Caroll, Aquatics Director – [email protected]
