Child Care Staff

The Penns Valley Program Center is seeking energetic, dependable individuals to fill part-time positions in our child care program. There are open positions for both the before- and after-school program at our Centre Hall and Penns Valley Elementary School locations; program hours are 6:30-8am in the mornings and 2:30-6pm in the afternoons. Incentives include a free YMCA membership and excellent opportunities for professional growth in the Child Care field. Ideal candidates must have at least 15 credit hours in the Human Services field and experience working with children in a group setting. New competitive wages for this position vary from $9.00 – $10.15 per hour depending on experience. Successful applicants will be required to obtain PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse History and FBI Clearances. Child Watch Staff

The Penns Valley Program Center is seeking patient, responsible individuals to fill part-time Child Watch Staff positions.  Child Watch is a child care program offered for family members while they workout or participate in wellness programming. Previous experience working with children is preferred but not required.  Hours are Mondays through Thursdays from 9-11:30am and 5-8pm. Starting rate of pay is $7.50 per hour. Successful applicants will be required to obtain PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse History and FBI Clearances.
