Welcome to the 4th Annual, YMCA of Centre County, Moshannon Valley Branch YMCA Mountain Bike Race being held at Black Moshannon State Park 9 miles east of Philipsburg, PA on Rt. 504. For more information about the park please visit:

COURSE INFO:

We ride rain or shine!! Riding in the mountains of central PA in August is always unpredictable…..sun, heat & dust…rain, fog & mud….but that’s what makes this ride stand out from the others!!  The course will be the same as 2012 and will consist of two loops….a 20 mile Sport Class course & an additional 3 mile loop for the Expert Class. The event begins in Black Moshannon State Park, crosses over into the Moshannon State Forest & returns to the park. A mixture of singletrack, lung busting climbs, gravel roads & paved roads will challenge everyone from the novice to the expert!!

REGISTRATION DETAILS:

Early Bird Entry by July 26, 2013, $25.00 includes a t-shirt (please be sure to indicate size).
Registration after July 26 & Day-of-Event - $30.00 (no t-shirt)
On-line registration available until Friday, August 9, 2013 @ 12:00 PM ET
Check-in & Registration on day-of-event begins at 9:00 AM
Registration fees are non-refundable

RACE DAY DETAILS:

Race Day Check-in 9:00 am
Racer Meeting (Mandatory): 10:40 am
Staging: 10:50 am
Expert Class Race Start: 11:00 am
Sport Class Race Start: 11:10 am
Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each class.
All riders will be required to wear helmets & sign a release waiver before start of the race. Riders under the age of 18 will be required to have a parent or legal guardian sign the waiver.

Please note that alcohol consumption is PROHIBITED in PA State Parks!
