Y BEGINNERS HIKING AND RUNNING CLUBS

Hiking

Are you interested in improving your fitness while enjoying the outdoors? Come out and hike! Hiking invigorates both the body and mind. Hikers will meet at local trails and mountains. From Mount Nittany to Shingletown Gap, there will be a little something for everyone regardless of your hiking experience. Running

Is running a 5K on your New Year’s resolution list? Want to find new running partners and/or groups? Returning to running after an injury or hiatus? This friendly, supportive group will help you reach your running goals while having fun and socializing. Our members include brand new runners, those training for distance runs (such as 1/2 marathons), those working on increasing their speed, and runners/joggers just looking for extra motivation. Ab-solute Results Express

A 30-minute express class that targets the core; tone your abs, shape your hips, firm your butt and strengthen your back build your overall strength and decrease risk of injury.

Body Blast

This workout is usually designed in “circuit style” stations to blast your body into shape with cardio and strength training intervals. A variety of equipment including body bars, balls, weights and bands are used to blast your body into burning fat and toning muscle.

Body Camp

Your favorite strength training moves combined with boot camp style power packed intervals—you get the best of both worlds! This is an awesome calorie burner that is sure to get you into the best shape of your life. Participants will gain strength while shedding extra weight to look and feel great

Body Pump

Body Pump is a full body workout that incorporates traditional barbell and weight room exercises with upbeat music. Participants will be surprised at their increase in strength and lean muscle tone in a short amount of time.

Boot Camp

Y Boot Camp classes help adults to achieve weight loss goals through a variety of strength training and cardio exercises and activities. Participants will develop confidence while achieving an overall feeling of health and well being.

Cardio & Core

Cardio and Core is a total body workout stimulating cardiovascular fitness through active step and/or floor aerobics, sport conditioning, ball and circuit activities. Participants will gain muscular   strength and endurance while strengthening their core.

Cardio and Sculpt

A challenging cardio workout using a variety of equipment to burn calories, improve heart health, sculpt lean muscle, abs and glutes. Participants will experience in increase in energy and vitality.

Cardio Jam

Cardio Jam will get your heart rate up with cardio and build up your strength and increase your metabolism using various challenging class formats and equipment. This class will improve your heart health, increase your muscle strength and burn fat.

Cardio Kickboxing

Cardio Kickboxing combines cardio, boxing and martial arts. This intense, total-body workout can improve strength, aerobic fitness, flexibility, coordination and balance.

Cycling

Cycling is fun and challenging class that is appropriate for all levels of fitness. Pedal your way to an increase in endurance and an overall healthy lifestyle in an energized group setting.

Yoga is designed to bring a balance to mind, body and soul. Yoga helps to reduce stress and increase flexibility while gaining a greater sense of personal well being All levels are welcome.

Pilates

Pilates consists of a series of non-impact exercises that are designed to improve muscle control, flexibility and coordination. Pilates exercises help to maximize core strength, while toning and increasing flexibility in the rest of the body. Participants will become stronger and increase flexibility.

Pilates with a Yoga

Pilates with a Yoga Influence consists of a series of non-impact exercises and poses designed to bring balance to the mind, body and soul. Participants will reduce stress and increase strength, balance and muscle control while gaining a greater sense or well being.

Piloxing

Piloxing uniquely mixes Pilates and boxing into a fat torching and muscle sculpting workout guaranteed to whip you into shape. Experience the transformation as you attain a sleek, sexy and powerful self-image.

ZUMBA

Zumba features exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin beats. It’s easy to do, burns calories and is most importantly fun! Additionally, Zumba participants often develop a deep-rooted community, who dance their way to a healthier lifestyle.

Zumba Tone

Zumba Tone is an easy to follow, calorie burning, Latin inspired dance party. With Zumba Tone you will sculpt your body while moving your toward an increase in joy and health.

6 Week Healthy Fat Loss Program

This program is for YMCA members who are serious about modifying their nutrition and exercise habits to lose body fat and lead a healthy lifestyle. This 6 week program allows you to meet with a personal trainer twice a week to develop a structured fat loss workout and to meet with a   Registered Dietician that will provide nutrition consultation at week 1, week 3 and week 6 to help design your eating plan. Personal Training and Nutrition

One on one training provides you with effective and time efficient workouts. Our personal trainers can maximize your fitness or athletic potential by leading you every step of the way. Personal training is also available in the water. Fees for One on One Personal Training and Nutrition Counseling Sessions can be combined for personal training (land and/or aquatic) and nutrition counseling.

1 Session: $35/$70

5 Sessions: $145/$280

10 Sessions: $225/$440

20 Sessions: $400/$815
