Tang Soo Do, Ages 6 - Adult

Tang Soo Do is a traditional Korean martial art that encourages courtesy, patience, loyalty, honesty, and self-control while improving physical strength, endurance, and flexibility. Under the direction of internationally-ranked Master Instructor Terry Summers, students receive age and rank appropriate training in a supportive and encouraging environment. As part of the World Tang Soo Do Association, student belt promotions are recognized internationally and students have the opportunity to attend rank specific clinics and compete in local, national, and international tournaments. Separate classes are held for adults and children. Additional fees for uniforms and testing may apply.

Shotokan, Ages 5 & Up (Youth & Adult Classes available)

Shotokan is a traditional Okinawan style of karate that is strong yet graceful. Shotokan emphasizes a combination of physiology, with technique and spirit to maximize ones effectiveness, power, and speed. Shotokan karate fosters the development of qualities such as coordination of mind and body, self-control, mental discipline (knowing what is right and wrong), respect for others, and self confidence with courage perseverance, courtesy, and humility, in your training. Children will be divided into age/skill groups, and class meeting days will be determined by Sensei A. Campbell. Class meets a combination of Wednesday, Friday, and/or Saturday.

Judo, Ages 9 & Up (Youth & Adult Classes available)

Practiced by millions of people around the world, judo (translated from the Japanese as “Gentle Way”) is a suitable and fun activity for all ages. Judo is many things to different people: a sport, an art, a discipline, a self-defense program, a fitness regimen, and a social activity.

Coed Self Defense, Ages 16 & Up

Safe, Vigilant, Aware:  Learn basic techniques and tactics in self defense to safeguard you and your family while developing these skills with a fitness and cardio focus. Some training in weapons defense will also be demonstrated and practiced. Program is for the family and taught by a man and woman team.
