Charity Auction

The Annual Charity Auction raises funds to support the Y’s Open Doors Program, ensuring that no one is turned away from the Y due to inability to pay. Opportunities to support the auction include sponsorships, cash donations, in-kind donations of goods and services to be auctioned off and attending and bidding at the event.

The generous support of our community makes the charity auction a success year after year. In 2011, $52,000 was raised, giving the YMCA of Centre County the ability to offer affordable child care to low and middle-income families, develop programs for at-risk youth and keep our doors open to any and all members of the community. Being part of the Y helps people be more healthy, confident, connected and secure.
