American Red Cross Lifeguarding
Being a top quality lifeguard comes from rigorous training, commitment, vigilance and quality supervision. A lifeguard who is experienced, prepared and confident is an asset to the Y, and to your community. That’s why the Red Cross has been developing its new scenario-based Lifeguard Program over the past four years with input from YMCA and other aquatic professionals to ensure that lifeguards
we hire and the ones we certify are the best in the business. Minimum age of 16 required for certification. Lifeguard candidate will recieve CPR and First Aid.

Wednesday, May 11th, 4-8pm
Thursday, May 12th, 4-8pm
Saturday, May, 14th 12-4pm
Monday, May 16th, 4-8pm.

Sunday, May 22nd; 12-5pm.
This course will training and testing for the American Red Cross certifications in Adult, Child and infant CPR, use of the AED, and Standard First Aid. Successful completion of the course will result in a two year certification.
