Go Global, Grades 8-12
First Tuesday of Every Month

Go Global is a service learning program that engages teens personal growth and discovery surrounding cultural awareness. Those who participate in the program will be attending local cultural events and service learning projects with the opportunity to travel with the YMCA International Global Teens Program. This program will allow each teen to gain international experience with service abroad. Come gain a deepened sense of the social issues impacting our world and explore methods for positively contributing to our global community.

Teen Center, Ages 11+

For Ages 11 & up.

Air hockey, ping pong, pool, foosball and computers with internet.

Teen Leaders Club, Ages 11-18
Wednesdays during school year, 5:30-7:30 PM

Leaders Club is a YMCA program for teens in middle and high school, focusing on leadership training, personal growth, service to others, and social development. Requirements for club participation include being a YMCA member, completing a minimum of 5 hours of volunteer work per month, being an excellent role model at all times, and participating in club meetings and events. The club plans and participates in various events such as community service, social activities, fund raisers, regional teen rallies, and PACAA Teen Leadership Training School. Must be YMCA Members.

Recycled Designs Teen Camp

July 9-12, 2012, 9:00-11:00 AM

State College Branch

Cost: $30/40

A unique camp that shows teens how to take care of the planet – one action at a time. Each day will feature activities to go along with themes such as waste, air, water and food. Campers will learn the importance of each theme, as well as learn how to reuse our valuable resources. Some of the camp’s projects will include creating recycled art and jewelry.

Registration begins February 27, 2012.
