Moshannon Valley Pickleball
Pickleball is a fun sport created for all ages and skill levels. The paddle sport combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players.

Support Pickleball Facilities and Programs
From day one, the Y’s pickleball family has been committed to supporting and enhancing pickleball facilities and programs for both the YMCA and our community. We are currently raising funds to install lights on our 5-court outdoor facility, with a goal of $80,000.

Policies & Guidelines
- Stop at front desk to check-in prior to playing on outdoor pickleball courts to receive wristband for play. Wrist band MUST be worn and displayed while using courts.
- Schedule subject to change at YMCA's discretion.
- Advanced and intermediate level players currently have OUTDOOR reserved courts every day for play. (see the posted schedule at the courts or on the YMCA website)
- During open play, when players are waiting, players are expected to rotate off the court.
Inclement Weather Policy
- If school is cancelled, there will be no 1-3:30pm Pickleball. Morning Pickleball and 6-8pm Pickleball will not be affected.
- If school has early dismissal, there is no pickleball after the early dismissal has been announced, excluding the 6-8pm pick-up play on Tuesday/Thursday.
- If school has 2 hour delay, pickleball will not be affected.

Beginner Pickleball Times
We have set aside dedicated time for beginners to learn and play! One court is reserved for beginners on Sundays from 11:30 AM to 1:15 PM and Fridays from 10:00 to 11:30 AM. All other courts remain open for intermediate and advanced players during these times.
RESERVE YOUR COURT!! - Reserve your court for your group inside on Saturdays. We are also trialing additional reservation time slots on days that SCASD does not have school. (State College Pickleball Reservation).
- Make an account and sign-up at the link provided above.
- Sign-up up to 1 week prior to date. Anyone found reserving court space earlier than 1 week in advance will no longer be able to reserve courts.
- 60-120 minute blocks per reservation, depending on the day and time.
