Aquatic and Youth Program Director
YMCA of Centre County’s Bellefonte Branch is seeking an energetic leader to develop, organize, and provide direction for aquatic and youth programs in accordance with policies, goals, mission, values, and objectives established by the YMCA of Centre County. The Aquatic & Youth Program Director is responsible for the development, implementation, organization, management, supervision, administration, and evaluation of program strategies to increase and retain YMCA members and program participants. Additional responsibilities include: championing membership retention, recruiting and supervising staff, budget preparation and management, working with volunteers, and participation in the YMCA’s Annual Giving Campaign.
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- 3 years of experience in youth and aquatic programming
- Must have experience in program development and volunteer recruitment.
- Ability to relate to all age groups.
- Competency in fiscal management, administration, and marketing as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills to successfully communicate and work with a varied demographic.

Child Care Staff
YMCA of Centre County’s Bellefonte Branch is accepting applications for part-time positions the Child Care and After School Programs. Potential candidates must possess a minimum of 15 credit hours in Early Education, Elementary Education or the Human Service field. Working hours are Monday through Friday between 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM. Member Service Representative
The Bellefonte Branch of the YMCA of Centre County is currently seeking friendly and reliable Member Service Representatives to fill a variety of shifts, throughout the week. Candidates should have availability between the hours of 9 AM and 3 PM. Member Service Representatives are responsible for answering the phones at the front desk, responding to member inquiries, setting up new members, and other tasks as assigned. Annex Fitness Attendant
YMCA of Centre County’s Bellefonte Branch is currently seeking Fitness Attendants to work in the Annex Fitness Center. Staff are needed to fill a variety of shifts throughout the week including day shifts from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM . This part-time position includes the responsibility of assisting members with equipment, checking in members and non-members, and doing some program registrations. Previous experience in customer service and/or fitness is preferred. Successful candidates will be required to obtain or provide copies of current PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse, and FBI Fingerprint clearances. The Bellefonte branch is currently seeking courteous, professional, and punctual lifeguards for weekday and weekend shifts. Starting rate of pay is $9.00 per hour. Requirements include a current lifeguard certification. Successful candidates will also be required to obtain PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse History, and FBI Clearances.
