Annex Fitness Attendants
The Bellefonte Branch of the YMCA of Centre County is currently seeking Fitness Attendants to work in the Annex Fitness Center. Staff are needed to fill a variety of shifts throughout the day. This part-time position includes the responsibility of assisting members with equipment, checking in members and non-members, and doing some program registrations. Previous experience in customer service and/or fitness is preferred. Successful candidates will be required to obtain or provide copies of current PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse, and FBI Fingerprint clearances. Child Care Staff
The Bellefonte Branch of the YMCA of Centre County is accepting applications for part-time positions in our Early Care and Education Program and our Summer Camp Program. Potential candidates must possess a minimum of 15 credit hours in Early Education, Elementary Education or the Human Service field. Working hours vary Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:30 am – 6:00 pm. Benefits include usage of all YMCA of Centre County facilities. Starting rate of pay varies depending on experience. The Bellefonte branch of the YMCA of Centre County is currently seeking a Dance Instructor to teach classes on Monday evenings between 4:00 and 6:30 p.m. Dance experience and experience working with children are both a plus. Successful candidates will be required to obtain current copies of PA Criminal, Child Abuse History, and FBI clearances. Kepler Pool Manager
The Bellefonte Branch of the YMCA of Centre County is currently accepting applications for the position of Summer Pool Manager at Kepler Pool. This position is being filled at 40 hours a week from May-August of 2020. Successful candidates should be certified in Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR for the Professional Rescuer and First Aid. Schedule varies weekly. Relevant experience in aquatic programming is preferred. The Bellefonte branch is currently seeking courteous, professional, and punctual lifeguards for weekday and weekend shifts. Starting rate of pay is $9.00 per hour. Requirements include a current lifeguard certification. Successful candidates will also be required to obtain PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse History, and FBI Clearances.
