Assistant Early Care and Education Director
YMCA of Centre County’s Bellefonte Branch is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated individual to fill the position of Assistant Early Care & Education Director. This position is responsible for assisting the Early Care & Education Director in the supervision and direction of the Early Care & Education programs at the branch.
Successful candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Services, or a related field. Candidates should also have a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of DHS regulations, experience working in a licensed child care facility, and prior management experience.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a salary range of $14.42 – $16.82 per hour depending on experience. In addition to the salary, YMCA of Centre County also offers a competitive benefits package, which includes employer paid health insurance and retirement and a generous paid time off package.

Child Care Staff
The YMCA of Centre County-Bellefonte Branch is accepting applications for part time positions in our After School Program. Potential candidates must possess a minimum of 15 credit hours in Early Education, Elementary Education or the Human Service field. Working hours are Monday through Friday between the hours of 1:15pm-6:00pm. Benefits include usage of all YMCA of Centre County facilities. Starting rate of pay varies depending on experience. The Bellefonte branch is currently seeking courteous, professional, and punctual lifeguards for weekday and weekend shifts. Starting rate of pay is $9.00 per hour. Requirements include a current lifeguard certification. Successful candidates will also be required to obtain PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse History, and FBI Clearances.
