Program Coordinator

The Penns Valley Branch of the YMCA of Centre County is currently seeking a full-time Program Coordinator to assist with child care programs, coordinate and manage youth camps/programs, teach fitness classes, and manage a few personal training clients. Ideal candidates for this entry-level position should have high energy, be willing to learn, outgoing, and enjoy working with people of all ages. Experience working in a fitness setting is preferred but not required. Extensive job training will be provided. Starting rate of pay is $10.00 to $10.15 per hour, but hourly rate will increase when teaching fitness classes or conducting personal training sessions.  Successful candidates will be required to submit copies of PA Criminal, Child Abuse History, and FBI clearances. Member Service Representatives

The Penns Valley Branch of the YMCA of Centre County is currently seeking friendly and reliable Member Service Representatives to fill evening and weekend shifts. Child Watch Staff

The Penns Valley Branch of the YMCA of Centre County has openings for part-time, friendly and reliable child watch staff. Child watch is a child care service offered to family members while they workout or participate in wellness programming. Staff are needed to fill shifts on weekdays from 9:00 to 11:30 am and 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Successful candidates over the age of 18 will be required to obtain or provide copies of current PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse, and FBI Fingerprint clearances. Swim Lesson Instructors

The Penns Valley Branch of the YMCA of Centre County has an opening for energetic, motivated Swim Instructors to teach group swimming lessons at the Millheim Pool this summer. Lessons will be taught on Monday and Wednesdays from 6 to 7 pm and Tuesdays from 6:30 – 7 pm. Previous swimming experience is required.
