It was a great day of FUNdraising this past Saturday, as the State College YMCA hosted the 4^th Annual Dink for Pink+ Charity Pickleball Event, sponsored by Dailey’s Lawn Care and Mount Nittany Health. This event would not have been possible without the incredible support of our sponsors, volunteers (extra shout-out to Event Co-Chairs Maribel and Scott), Round Robin participants, community businesses and members who donated raffle prizes, and everyone who attended and/or purchased raffle tickets. Best of all, more than $8,000 was raised to support the Y’s charitable programs and Mount Nittany Health’s Oncology Navigators, who help patients navigate their cancer treatment plans. Candice from the Navigator Team joined us at the event and shared examples of how these funds make a real difference—including providing resources such as gas cards for patients who otherwise may not be able to get to their needed, often life-saving, appointments. Thank you to everyone who helped make this day of FUNdraising such a success! Your support is making a difference in the lives of people in our community. 💗🏓

State College YMCA Outdoor Pickleball Courts

This is a FUNdraising tournament. 20 players will play on 5 courts. Players will be seeded in advance to balance out play. Each player will play a minimum of 6 games in a Ladder format with 2 rotations. Games will be first to 11, win by 1. The top 4 ranked players based upon wins, points earned, and differential after the 2 rotations will advance to the Finals. Awards will be presented to the four finalists in each division. Food and beverages provided throughout the day.

Divisions (limited to 20 players per division)

8:30 AM: Advanced Round Robin

11:00 AM: Novice/Low Intermediate Round Robin

1:30 PM: Intermediate Round Robin

YMCA Members: Registration opens August 31:  $50.00/player

Non-Members: Registration opens September 8:   $65.00/player

Basket Raffle/Silent Auction will be set up in the State College YMCA beginning Wednesday, September 23. Drawings and final silent auction bids will be at 2:00pm on Saturday, October 3 at the Dink for Pink+ event.
