The Hairy-Half Hike or Hustle takes place every April in Bald Eagle State Forest, starting and finishing at the Hairy Johns Picnic Area, where participants can choose to be the tortoise or the hare. The event will be held on April 11, 2026, and offers distance options of 4.3, 7.3, or 14.3 miles.
