DESCRIPTION:RACE DAY CHECK-IN STARTS AT 8:00 AM UNDER THE PAVILION AT THE CORNER OF CONCESSION ROAD & BLACK MOSHANNON ROAD\n\nLace up those sneakers – the Black Moshannon 5K/10K Race/Walk is on May 24th! Whether you’re racing or walking\, it’s a great way to get active and enjoy the outdoors.\n\n\n\n\nT-shirt Reminder: Only those who registered before May 3rd are guaranteed a race T-shirt. There will be a limited number available for purchase on race day – first come\, first served!\nRegistration is open online until May 21st\, but please note that prices have increased.\n\n\n\n IMPORTANT: Due to some registration issues\, we strongly encourage you to email swhite@ymcaocc.org or call the Moshannon Valley YMCA to confirm your registration.\n\n\nTRADITIONAL 10K RACE \nThe race starts at the breast of the dam (behind the beach) on Black Moshannon Road. There are three left turns. At 1 1/2 miles: turn left from Black Moshannon Road at the bridge up Huckleberry Hill. At 2 1/4 miles: turn left at the top on Huckleberry Road. At 4 1/2 miles: turn left onto Cassanova Road (paved). The finish is back at the chute near the Environmental Learning Center entrance. \n\n5K RACE/WALK\nThe 5K Race/Walk starts at the mouth of West Side Road. Participants will proceed along the lake to the turnaround point near the Bog Trail where a water station will be located. Participants will return on the opposite side of West Side Road and cross Route 504 and enter the paved road toward the Camp Store. After a turn-around cone at the end of the paved road\, participants will make a left turn across the grassy lawn and go up the hill to Cassanova road. Making a right turn\, participants will go one-tenth of a mile downhill and finish at the Environmental Learning Center entrance. \n\nREGISTRATION  \nPre-registrations will not be accepted after May 3\, 2025.
