DESCRIPTION:CLICK HERE TO LEARN MORE OR REGISTER NOW \nThis 4-part film series examines food insecurity in Mississippi\, highlighting different perceptions\, causes\, impacts\, and solutions to one of the critical issues facing the Magnolia State.  We will screen the first episode\, The Last Supermarket.  This episode focuses on what happens when Clarksdale’s only full-service supermarket closes. Learn how community-based programs were able to fill in the gaps.  You can find all 4 episodes here: The Hungriest State | MSU Films (msstate.edu). (Please be sure to watch this episode in advance of the event.) \nWe will start with the 30-minute screening at 7pm and then move into a panel discussion moderated by WPSU’s Anne Danahy.  The panel discussion will be followed by a complimentary reception for guests to chat with panelists and WPSU staff.
