Swim Lessons

Swim Lessons will be held at the Millheim Pool. Prices are per session. No refunds/credits will be given for classes that are cancelled due to weather. Register online or at any YMCA of Centre County branch. Contact Liz Toukonen ([email protected]) for more information.

Water Acclimation 

Monday & Wednesday from 6:00 pm – 6:30 pm

Ages: 3 to 5 years

Cost: Member $55 / Non-Member $80

This class will focus on increasing comfort with underwater exploration and introduces basic, self-rescue skills performed with assistance. Click here to register online. 

Water Movement

Tuesday & Thursday from 10:00 am – 10:30 am

Ages: 3 to 5 years

Cost: Member $55 / Non-Member $80

Water movement encourages forward movement in the water and basic self-rescue skills performed independently. Click here to register online. 

Stroke Introduction 

Monday & Wednesday from 6:30 pm – 7:00 pm

Ages: 5 to 12 years

Cost: Member $55 / Non-Member $80

Stroke Introduction will introduce basic stroke technique in front crawl and back crawl and reinforces water safety through treading water and elementary backstroke. Click here to register online.

Tuesday from 6:30 pm – 7:00 pm

Ages: 5 to 12 years

Cost: Member $27 / Non-Member $45

Introduces breastroke and butterfly and reinforces water safety through treading water and sidestroke. Click here to register online.
