Pre-School T-Ball

Begins Saturday, May 6th

Boys and Girls age 3-5

This is an instructional, non-competitive co-ed league designed to introduce your child to the basics of baseball. Teams will meet Saturday mornings at Old Gregg School Park for ½ hour of practice and instruction followed by ½ hour of play. All players will receive a team t-shirt, hat, as well as an end of the season award. Players should provide their own glove. Teams will meet for 6 Saturdays with a one day weather make-up. The end of season picnic and awards party will be on the final day following the games.

COED Flag Football League

Ages 5-13

The YMCA’s NFL flag football program offers different leagues for children ages 5 to 13. Flag football is fun for everyone and a safer alternative for parents who might hesitate letting their children start tackle football.

The kids will be divided into three different age groups. (5-7, 8-10, and 11-13)

YMCA youth sports encourage healthy kids, families and communities by placing a priority on family involvement, positive self– image and a sense of fair play. Through our caring staff and coaches, we help your child develop the skills fundamental not only to play the sport, but also to be successful in the community such as cooperation, commitment, dedication and sportsmanship.

Summer Football Camp

Ages 5-13
August 14th-18th from 6:00 to 8:00pm

Summer camp is an opportunity for kids, both boys and girls who like football but aren’t able to participate in the fall program. Flag camp can be for players who have never played organized football. This is a perfect opportunity to introduce the game of football in a controlled and structured environment. While learning basic fundamentals, players will be able to develop their skills and gain confidence. Experienced players can sharpen their fundamentals and learn new techniques through a variety of drills and games.

Mommy and Me Class, Ages 18 months to 35 months:

Saturday: 8:45am to 9:30

Wondering if your child is ready for a gymnastics class? At the Mommy and Me class parents accompany kids under 3 as they improve coordination and motor mobility. This is a non-competitive environment where kids can hit each milestone as they progress with there skills.

$20 members/$30 non-member

Tumbling Tots Class, ages 3 to 5 years:

Saturdays: 9:30am to 10:15

As your little one learns the basic skills of gymnastics they will also have the opportunity to develop valuable physical and intellectual skills. As they participate in a group setting they can improve balance, coordination and agility by following directions and remembering simple tasks.

$25 member/$35 non-member

Leaps and Bounds:

Tuesday from 5:30pm-6:30pm.

A class for youth 7 and up. This class will keep your children active in a fun and safe way! One of our wellness staff will instruct the participants in exercises that are not only challenging and fun but specific for this age group. Children must have a membership and one parent or guardian must be present during the class time. Please sign up at the front desk for the class you plan on attending, the class has a 3 child minimum.

Little Dragons:

Little Dragons Tang Soo Do starting in April with the Arteca’s, ages 6-10. MW at 6pm

A special program designed for younger students who may not be ready for the vigorous nature of the youth programs. Certified Black Belt instructors teach personal safety, self-defense, concentration, discipline, respect, self-control and confidence.
