]]> At the Y, we know how important it is for our members to stay informed about schedule changes, weather closures, and program or event updates. That’s why we share information through multiple channels—emails, social media, our website, and mobile app—so you can get the updates you need in the way that’s most convenient for you.

MOBILE APP

Our mobile app allows you to view current schedules, register for programs, store your membership card for easy check-in, and more! Search “YMCA of Centre County” in the app store and turn on notifications to receive important alerts right on your mobile device.

  • Turn on notifications to receive alerts:

    1. Click the circle with your initials in the top-left corner of the screen.

    2. Select Settings.

    3. Go to Notifications.

    4. Toggle Class Reminders to ON.

    5. If you’re still not receiving alerts, check your device’s notification settings and make sure they are enabled.

WEBSITE ALERTS PAGE

The “Facility Alerts” page on our website lists all current alerts for the day. Before you head in—especially during bad weather—check this page to see if classes, programs, or events are running as scheduled.

SOCIAL MEDIA

Stay updated on cancellations, alerts, and other important news! Each YMCA branch has its own Facebook group. Click the links below to follow your branch.

EMAIL

Setup/Download Instructions:
  1. Visit the app store on your smartphone.
  2. Search YMCA of Centre County or click the link below if you’re viewing this page from a mobile device.
  3. Download the app to your mobile device.
  4. Open the app and click the “Login” button at the bottom of the screen. You can click “Skip and explore”, but you will not have access to many of the features available to YMCA members.
  5. Enter the email address or phone number associated with your member account. If you’re not sure what that is, please stop by the front desk or email info@ymcaocc.org.
  6. Enter your password.
    • If you’ve used our program registration system before to sign up for events or programs online, you likely already have a password. Enter this now.
    • If you’ve never signed up for a YMCA program online, create a new password.
  7. You’re ready to use the app! Set up your profile and browse the features available.
